Your body language shapes who you are

The Video I watched was called Your body language shapes who you are by Amy Cuddy a social psychologist, and the video talked about how can body language can effect you and your personality. The reason i choose this video is because body language interest me for the surprisingly results they have, although i don't know much about body language or about psychology, yet i enjoy it a lot.
The video was approximately 20 minutes long but to me it felt like 1 minute. i'm going to have a hard time summarizing the video for everything i heard and saw in the video was important. The first thing that she mentioned was a small body tweak that we should try, yet she didn't say what it's going to do and why until later in the video, and that tweak was to change the poster for two minutes. As an introduction she said that she's interested in other people's body language, and how bodies communicate with each other, and how people's body language effect their life.
One significant expression that she talked about that everyone do it even animals do the same thing  from the beginning of time is that is when feeling powerful or having power humans expand and animals do the same thing, and when feeling powerless we tend to close up and we wrap our self up and make our self small and try to avoid pumping into other people. When someone  is being powerful with us we tend to do the opposite, we mirror them. According to what she noticed while teaching is that some people come to class early and occupy a large space and try to expand while others comes on time and sit by their own closed up, and when they participate the first kind of students tent to raise their hand high and a lot  while the second type raise it low and not quite as much. Another thing she noticed is that it's kind of related to gender,

  1. I like how you included the video in your blog post. Nice work! Good summary as well. I watched part of this video, but I need to go back and finish it. It looks great.
